The AndersenPets – Dr+Vet team enthusiastically participated in the ESVO 2025 congress, one of the most important events in European veterinary ophthalmology, held this month in Ghent.
A meeting point for veterinary ophthalmology
Throughout the event, our booth became a meeting point for veterinarians and ophthalmology specialists from all over Europe. Many professionals came to the event, interested in learning about our nutraceutical solutions for animal eye health, such as Lacrimalis+, Occulus+, Retinae, and Glauco+. Our team enjoyed very enriching discussions about the clinical benefits of nutraceuticals for conditions such as dry eye, cataracts, retinopathies, and glaucoma.

Science, learning, and relationships
Beyond the presentations and scientific exchange, the congress was an opportunity to learn from leading European ophthalmologists, attend keynote presentations, and establish new connections with European clinics and distributors interested in incorporating our products. Among the most talked-about talks were those by David Gould, Christine Heinrich, and Simon Petersen-Jones, who provided an up-to-date perspective on the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases in small animals.
Active participation in social events
ESVO is not just about science—it’s also about community—and AndersenPets wanted to be present at the social events and networking events that accompanied the congress.
These informal gatherings allowed us to strengthen ties with colleagues, distributors, and international partners, exchange ideas, and, above all, share our common passion for veterinary ophthalmology.
