1-What is OSMODROPS?
Hyperosmotic ophthalmic solution with a high concentration of mannitol and glycerol that restores the osmotic balance of the cornea by eliminating excess fluid, thus promoting the recovery of visual function.
2- Functional ingredients
Mannitol: Hyperosmotic agent that extracts water from the cornea.
Glycerol: Also a hyperosmotic agent that acts synergistically with mannitol.
3- Properties
The product’s osmolarity exceeds 1000 mOsm/L, making the solution hypertonic and therefore capable of drawing water from the cornea and ocular tissues by osmosis.
Theraoftal Osmo is a hyperosmotic ophthalmic solution with a high concentration of mannitol, which draws excess fluid from the cornea and thus reduces the excess aqueous component in the corneal layer. Therefore, Theraoftal Osmo can be used in any situation requiring the removal of excess fluid from the cornea.
4- Instructions for use of OSMODROPS
Apply 1 or 2 drops in each eye, 2 or 3 times a day for at least 2 or 3 weeks. Continue as necessary.
5- Conservation
Store in a dry, cool place, protected from light.

OSMODROPS COMPOSITION: Mannitol, glycerol, EDTA disodium salt, hyaluronic acid sodium salt, buffered solution at pH 7.2.
