Eye Drops
1- What is IALUDROP?
Lubricant eye drops for dogs and cats with cross-linked sodium salt of 0.15% hyaluronic acid and 0.30% carboxymethyl beta-glucan indicated in all cases of alteration of the tear film (such as redness and dryness ocular conjunctival, etc…).
2- Functional Ingredients
Crosslinked Hyaluronic Acid Sodium Salt:Compared to linear hyaluronic acid, this special form of hyaluronic acid has a unique crosslinked structure that ensures greater hydration and viscoelasticity, high tear film stability, and prolonged retention on the ocular surface.
Carboxymethyl beta-glucan:In addition to increasing the product’s lubricating capacity, it counteracts the oxidative stress of free radicals.
3- Properties
Theraoftal Ialu is a sterile ophthalmic solution with cross-linked hyaluronic acid and carboxymethyl beta-glucan that protects, hydrates, and lubricates the ocular surface of dogs and cats for several hours. Theraoftal Ialu is indicated for any possible alteration of the tear film, including dry eye, as it hydrates, protects, and lubricates the ocular surface.
In cats, TheraOftal Ialu is indicated as an adjunct in the treatment of conjunctivitis caused by feline herpesvirus 1 (FHV-1).
Viral replication of FHV-1 causes erosion and ulceration of the mucous membranes, leading to rhinitis, conjunctivitis, and ulcerative conjunctival disease. Recent studies have shown that hyaluronic acid, applied topically, is able to stimulate the cells of the conjunctival mucosa, promoting its restoration.
4- IALUDROP Instructions for Use
Apply 1 or 2 drops in each eye, 2 or 3 times a day for at least 2 or 3 weeks. Continue as needed.
5- Conservation
Store in a dry, cool place, protected from light.

IALUDROP COMPOSITION:Crosslinked hyaluronic acid sodium salt, carboxymethylglucan, sodium N-hydroxymethylglycinate, EDTA disodium salt, isotonic buffered solution with pH 7.2.
